Frequently Asked Questions

What level of Japanese is required?
Business-level Japanese (JLPT N2 or equivalent) is preferred for most positions, as our internal communication is primarily in Japanese. However, for highly technical roles, we evaluate on a case-by-case basis. English documentation and code comments are welcome.
Can I work from outside Japan?
Currently, we require all employees to be based in Japan due to employment law and tax regulations. However, within Japan, you can work from anywhere — we are fully remote.
What is the interview process?
The process is: Resume screening, Casual chat (30 min), Technical interview with pair programming using Claude Code (60 min), Final interview with the CEO (30 min). The entire process typically takes 2-3 weeks.
Do you provide relocation support?
We provide visa sponsorship support and can help connect you with relocation resources. While we don't currently offer a formal relocation package, we're flexible and happy to discuss your specific situation.
